Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost?

Pricing varies depending on breed, coat type, size of the dog and condition of the coat.

How long will it take?

The duration of a groom varies depending on the size and coat type of your pet. The groomer will adivsde on duration when you drop off your pet, but the guidelines below will give a good indication of how long it will take.

Wash and brush - 30-60 minutes

Full groom - 90-120 minutes

Puppy grooms - 30 minutes

Hand strip - 2 hours

Cat and rabbit grooms - 1 hour

How often should I groom my pet?

We recommend that pets are groomed every 6-8 weeks, to maintain their coat and keep them in good condition.

Keeping on top of regular grooming will allow your dog to not only look their best, but feel it too.

It will help to keep mats away from long coated breeds, allow you and the groomer to regularly check them over for any lumps or bumps and will also help to create a lasting bond between the groomer and the animal.

What types of cut can my dog have?

There are many styles for the different breeds of dogs, but the most popular options are teddy bear cuts, breed specific trims and short all over for ease of management.

There are no limitations to the styles that your dog can have. If you have something specific in mind, or if you have a picture of something you you want your dog to have, please bring it with you.

Please note, if your pet's coat is matted, it will have to be cut short all over. This causes much less stress for your pet.
