Keyly RVN Neurology Discipline Manager

Keyly has over 18 years’ worth of veterinary industry experience. She began her career as an Animal Care Assistant before training and studying to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. During this time, she gained additional qualifications in rehabilitation and hydrotherapy for small animals which is where she developed her passion and interest for small animal neurology.

Keyly joined Pride Veterinary Referrals in 2013 as a Hydrotherapist and Neurology Nurse. Over the years, she has progressed within her role from Primary Neurology Nurse to Senior Neurology Nurse, Student Nurse Line Manager and now Neurology Discipline Manager. Keyly organises all aspects of the day-to-day running of the department and plays an integral role in building relationships with referring veterinary surgeons and clients alike.  

Keyly is a trustee for a trap, neuter, vaccinate, release project for a street animal charity in Morocco where she actively volunteers annually in her capacity as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. In addition, she also volunteers for a local animal charity and enjoys rehabilitating wildlife following injury or from being orphaned. Keyly has quite a menagerie of rescued animals at home including two pet pigs (Lola and Notorious P.I.G), three dogs (3 legged labrador called “Jaffa”, a paralysed Cockapoo call “Lola” and a Staffy called “Bruce”).
