Dawn Bode

After qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2004, Dawn moved from her training practice to start as a RVN within Scarsdale Vets, now part of IVC Evidensia. Dawn’s career evolved whereby she worked her way up from a RVN, to a Senior RVN which involved list running prep and theatre caseloads - This is when her interest in surgery became apparent. In 2022, Dawn became the Surgery Discipline Manager.

Dawn’s current role is diverse and involves working alongside Medicine and Neurology Managers and the emergency client care team to assist with the smooth flow of referrals. Part of Dawn’s current role also involves being a point of contact for referring vets who may require assistance with a referral or have a general enquiry.

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with family, as well as walking and swimming.
