Rosario Vallefuoco


Department: Surgery (Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic)

Rosario graduated in 2005 from the University of Naples, and subsequently undertook his surgery residency training at the National Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort, France, becoming a fully trained surgeon in 2013.

Rosario has worked both in academia and referral practice and regularly attends at AO basic, advanced & master courses.

He graduated from the University of Naples, Italy in 2005 defending a thesis on the fracture management with ESF in dogs and cats. He worked alongside with specialists in surgery in Europe and in the United States before completing a one-year rotating internship in 2007 at the National Veterinary School of Alfort in France.

In France he worked as surgery intern and then as a junior surgeon prior to undertaking a three year of surgery training program in 2010. He was appointed as a clinician in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, in 2013 after his residency program.

In 2014 he integrated the surgical team in a busy referral practice, in Paris. Rosario joined the Small Animal Surgery team at Pride Veterinary Centre in October 2016.

Rosario enjoys all aspects of surgery with particular interest for orthopaedic, oncology and neuro-surgery and he has published several articles on a variety of surgical topics.

In his spare time, Rosario enjoys running, swimming, reading and travelling.
