Irene graduated from Madrid in June 2009.
She has since worked in Universities including University College Dublin, the University of Glasgow and the University of Liverpool. She works part-time with Hospital Veterinario Puchol (Madrid Spain) and joined Pride Veterinary Centre in December 2018.
Her areas of clinical interest lie within neurosurgery, inflammatory brain disease and neurodegenerative disorders.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor sports and yoga. She also has a ginger cat called Angus.
