Olga graduated in Milan, Italy, in 2003, with a thesis about Gadolinium, a Magnetic Resonance contrast medium. She continued pursuing her interest in imaging at the University of Milan, where in 2006, she obtained a PhD about the CT aspects of Feline Injection-Site Sarcomas. She then joined the CT and MRI team of the imaging department of the faculty of Milan until 2010, when she started a residency in diagnostic imaging in Ghent, Belgium. She became an ECVDI Diplomate in 2014. She moved to the UK to join Pride Veterinary Centre in January 2020.
Olga loves all aspects of her job, particularly neuroimaging and interventional radiology; she is author and co-author of several articles in peer-reviewed international veterinary journals and has spoken in European imaging congresses.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking her goofy 11-year old Italian Segugio, Mirta, meeting with friends, and practicing yoga.
