Emma graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016 and subsequently worked in small animal practice. After completing a rotating internship at Bristol Emma spend a further year working as a locum before joining the team at Pride Veterinary Referrals in 2020 as a Neurology Intern. She joined the Neurology Residency programme at Pride Veterinary Referrals in February 2021.

Emma’s areas of clinical interest are idiopathic epilepsy and seizure management, gait analysis in the ataxic patient, and she has recently taken a keen interest in spinal stabilisation surgery for conditions such as contrictive myelopathy and/or subarchnoid diverticulum.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys cooking and trying foods from all over the world but has a particular love for Japanese cuisine. She shares her home with a cheeky longhaired miniature Dachshund called Hewie. On weekends, she loves nothing more than exploring towns or cities with her partner and discovering cute and quirky coffee shops or restaurants.
