Frances qualified from Bristol University in 2001 and after 18 months in mixed practice, moved into purely small animal work in 2003, where she developed an interest in surgery.
She moved to Scarsdale Veterinary Group in January 2008 to work as one of the surgeons in the hospital and obtained her Royal College Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2008.
Frances is based at Pride Veterinary Centre, helping to manage the busy in-house surgical caseload and taking external referrals. She completed her residency in small animal surgery in 2019, gaining the European Diploma in Small Animal Surgery in 2020
She is happy with either orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery, but her particular interest lies in soft tissue work. In particular wound management, oncology and has a developing experience in thoracic surgery.
