Charlotte Dye BVM&S PhD DSAM(feline) DipECVIM-CA MRCVS European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Charlotte graduated from the Royal (Dick) Vet College, Edinburgh in 1998. After a short spell in private practice, she moved to the University of Bristol to complete a three year FAB-funded Residency in Feline Medicine. She then embarked on a three-year research-based PhD studying the molecular biology of feline coronaviruses. Following this, she returned to a clinical teaching post at Bristol Vet School before moving back to private practice.

Charlotte achieved the RCVS certificate in small animal medicine in 2002 and was awarded the RCVS Diploma in Feline Internal medicine in 2008. She gained the European Diploma in Veterinary Internal Medicine in March 2017.

Charlotte enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and thrives on the daily challenge of problem solving that this subject inevitably entails. She has a special interest in feline medicine and is enjoying the opportunity to build up this aspect of the referral case load. Charlotte joined Pride Veterinary Referrals in 2011, adding expertise in feline medicine to the team.

Outside of work most of Charlotte’s time is occupied by looking after her two young daughters. However, when time allows, she enjoys running and also enjoys playing in a local flute ensemble.
