In some cases, it is necessary for dogs to receive a combined treatment of both Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy.
This can be for a number of reasons, but the most common situation is where muscle wastage is so great that treatment is required every day. Realistically coming for hydrotherapy treatment everyday isn't practical. Your dog will be assessed, and you will be given things that you can do at home every day to help regain their lost muscle bulk.
With hydrotherapy treatment the dog will be using all four legs. If one leg needs particular attention more than the others physiotherapy treatment can be used to target specific muscle groups only.
