Julie graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 1987, and has worked in small animal practice since then. Julie spent 10 years mainly in private practice in London and obtained her Certificate in Veterinary Radiology in 1996. Having taken a six month break from work to go on a round the world trip in 1993, she was keen to indulge her passion for travelling again and in 1998 spent seven months in South Africa, both in veterinary practices there and travelling around seeing the country. 

In 2000 Julie joined the Scarsdale Veterinary Group and furthered her interest in ultrasound and cardiology, passing the Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in 2008. Julie is based at Pride Veterinary Centre.
