John graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1990.

He was given a small animal intern position in the referral hospital of the college, where he worked for a further year, developing an interest in ophthalmology.

John joined the Scarsdale Veterinary Hospital in 1991 where he continued his interest in ophthalmology, and became a partner in 1996 where he is involved in the day to day running of the business in between a busy first opinion and referral case load. He has particular clinical interests in management of eye and eyelid trauma, and medical management of chronic ophthalmic cases.

John was very involved in the development of Pride Veterinary Centre, however when he does have spare time he is a keen gardener!
