Annarita Amodio

Annarita qualified at the University of Bari (Italy) in 2004. After a short time in general practice in Italy having a strong interest in Small Animal Cardiology and Medicine, she carried out a visiting fellowship in Cardiology and Medicine at Bristol University and helped in the running of the cardiology referral service while taking part in some research projects. Since then Annarita has worked in general practice and spent a year working in Emergency clinics where she gained experience in managing acute conditions and critically ill patients. 

Annarita joined the Scarsdale Veterinary Hospital in 2008 and is currently based at Pride Veterinary Centre. She sees most of the in-house cardiology cases and takes interest in most medicine cases helping the other vets by performing diagnostic procedures.

Annarita is a member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, Veterinary Cardiovascular Society and European Society of Veterinary Cardiology.
