Diagnostic Imaging

The Diagnostic Imaging team has access to an Imaging Suite containing MRI, CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. There are a number of high resolution screens for examining images in the Viewing Room and throughout the hospital.

The team works closely with the other referral services to help manage cases, diagnosing and localising disease and monitoring the response to treatment. Cases can also be referred for an ultrasound scan on an out-patient basis. The scans are performed and reported by a European Veterinary Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging with the results relayed back to the referring vet the same day so that case management can be continued by the primary vet. We offer a free Radiograph Reporting Service. Please send your images by e-mail to referrals@prideveterinarycentre.co.uk (preferably in DICOM rather than JPEG format) or by post. Please also send relevant clinical notes and laboratory results.
