We also offer regular Clinical Clubs and CPD evenings. These give you an opportunity to meet our team and have a look at the hospital facilities as well as being an informal way of keeping up-to-date, learning new skills, picking up practical tips and most importantly discussing difficult and frustrating cases. They also help us to understand how best to tailor our referral services to your needs.

Nurses will frequently encounter patients, presenting with wounds, who have been subjected to varying degrees of trauma. We will also discuss the vital steps required for preserving and managing wounds during the initial phase of treatment.

Flick is currently a small animal Theatre Nurse at Pride Veterinary Centre and has a passion for all things surgical and theatre related, especially orthopaedics. Flick gained her RCVS Advanced Nursing Diploma in 2012 and has plans to undertake the Veterinary Technician Specialist Certificate in Surgery. She enjoys providing frequent CPD for both student and qualified veterinary nurses, and has also lectured at BSAVA Congress.
